The TiC Linkage Update is the best way to fix shifter slop in pre-06 5MT cars. It replaces the non-serviceable factory linkage with an updated unit that comes with in their new polyurethane stiffer bushings and custom hardware. Installation of the TiC Linkage Update turns your old, worn-out shifter from the feeling of a spoon in a bowl of puddle to the tight, direct shifter it should be.
Fitment Note
- Direct fitment for 99-05 5MT Imprezas
- 97-98 5MT cars with external return spring will require a small hole to be drilled in the linkage in order to hook up the spring
- 93-96 5MT cars can use the TiC Linkage Update if the shifter assembly is updated to a post 96 design
- Fits most 5spd Subarus
