Does this engine require a break in procedure? And if so, what procedure or process would you recommend? Looking at having heads cleaned and decked and new timing components, not anything high horsepower, just OEM plus, thank you!

I was looking to use the Type RA short block kit in a 04 STI. Which water pump/timing belt kit would I get along with this setup if using the 04 STI heads etc?

Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding the product. First, Do the ARP connecting rod bolts flex with the engine as it heats and expands as well as cools and shrinks? Second, What brand of connecting rods and piston rings are in this? Is it OEM Subaru, or is it another brand? Lastly, are there any reviews about the ARP cylinder head studs and their performance or lack of performance with the engine? Thank You!

Hello, this is an OEM Subaru factory short block with no modifications so it has all OEM pistons, rods, etc internally. There are certainly many reviews on the head studs as they are the most popular step 1 upgrade when rebuilding/replacing the engine.

On the picture it shows the type RA bundle with pistons inside but no where on the description does it says that it is included. Is this a build short block with all gaskets or just the case?
