The Subaru OEM 2.5L 2004-2021 STI Short Block comes assembled from the manufacturer with new pistons, rods, bearings and crankshaft. The engine can be used as a replacement short block for 2.5L turbo WRX, Forester XT and Legacy GT models as well as an upgrade for 2.0L EJ20 turbo 2002-05 WRX's. *Note 2002-05 Subaru WRX models require additional parts and tuning when upgrading to the EJ25 2.5L short block.
