The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace for 2008-2014 WRX & STI prevents unwanted movement of the master cylinder, allowing for increased brake pedal stiffness and response.
OVERVIEW
Reduce Flex
Your brake pedal is connected to the thin sheet metal firewall, which flexes under pressure. Since the firewall isn't rigid enough to handle repeated braking force, it can compromise performance. The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace reinforces the area by bridging the firewall, master cylinder, and shock tower to reduce flex during braking.
Stiffen Brake Pedal Feel
The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace instantly reduces firewall flex, providing a solid and consistent brake pedal feel with every application. The improvement is noticeable not only during aggressive braking, but also in everyday situations like slowing for a stop sign.

The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace is CNC-machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 billet aluminum, delivering exceptional stiffness. Featuring stainless steel hardware and durable anodizing, it's built to look great and withstand the harshest conditions for the life of your vehicle.
Design
The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace is strategically designed to mount at multiple points on the shock tower, reducing flex in the brake master cylinder by creating a solid connection to the chassis. To further enhance stiffness, it includes an adjustable screw that allows tension to be preloaded on the master cylinder.
