OVERVIEW
Intercooler Construction
The PERRIN Intercooler Core is 28" long x 9.25" tall x 3.5" deep with a volume of 906.5 cu-in. which gives the PERRIN Intercooler the best overall design for cooling and pressure drop! The 3/8" bar and plate design is more durable than the tube and fin design and has the ability to withstand rocks and other debris.
Intercooler Finish
Every PERRIN Intercooler Core features a powder coat finish to protect your intercooler from the elements.
End Tanks Design
PERRIN End Tanks are perfectly designed to disperse hot charge air across the entire intercooler core. Turbulence is eliminated by eliminating 90° corners and adding a smooth, gradual taper from top to bottom. Each end tank incorporates an innovative mounting tab that secures the mounting beam's core.
Intercooler Support Beam
PERRIN Intercooler Support Beams are constructed from boxed steel and are powder coated black. Competitors use inexpensive aluminum bumper beams which saves a little weight but can be easily destroyed in a collision.
Intercooler Pressure Testing
Even the slightest leak can cause your vehicle to lose power, literally bleeding turbo boost pressure out the intercooler. PERRIN is one of the only intercooler manufacturers that pressure tests every intercooler. They pressurize every intercooler to 50 psi on their special jigs. This ensures you never get a core with a leak!
No Tuning Required
Increase horsepower and torque without ECU recalibration or tune! This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle without any tuning required! However, more power can be gained with proper ECU tuning! Confirm any tune or recalibration you add is specific for ALL modifications added to the vehicle.
Intercooler Stencil
Included with PERRIN front mount intercoolers is a free PERRIN logo intercooler stencil. Use the stencil to easily paint the PERRIN logo across the front of your intercooler. Simply peel, stick, paint, and remove!
