Weak or standard OEM transmission mounts often allow drivetrain movement, leading to issues with shift timing and quality. This problem is particularly evident in racing conditions, where the drivetrain is subjected to intense vibration. IAG’s Race Series Solid Transmission Mount is engineered to control drivetrain movement during high-performance driving, resulting in a more precise shift feel. Designed to fit seamlessly with 2002-2021 Subaru WRX, 2005-2009 Subaru LGT, and 2004-2008 FXT Subaru models with 5 speed transmissions, this durable mount effectively suppresses excessive vibrations, making it ideal for high-powered builds and serious racing applications.

The IAG Race Series Solid Transmission Mount provides secure support for your Subaru’s transmission because of its robust construction. It features our Race Series Solid Steel Bushings that are significantly stiffer than the Subaru GROUP N mounts. The mount’s body is precision-crafted from CNC-machined solid billet aluminum. Additionally, the IAG mounts stiffness can be fine-tuned by purchasing the Street Series 75A Black Bushing Set and/or our Competition Series Red 90A Bushing Kit.

The IAG Race Series Solid Transmission Mount comes with our Race Series Solid Steel Bushings, but can be easily swapped out with our Black 75A Bushings and/or our Competition Series Red 90A Bushing Kit (sold separately). The solid steel bushings deliver unmatched resistance to drivetrain movement for superior stability. For less rigidity, our 90A durometer bushings offer a more forgiving feel while still maintaining effective drivetrain control. If you prefer the least rigid option, the Street Series 75A Black Bushing Set delivers a softer feel, yet offers more stability and control than standard OEM mounts. Due to the solid race bushings and construction of the mount, NVH or noise vibration and harshness will be experienced in the cabin.

IAG’s Race Series Solid Transmission Mount features a unique flush hardware design that eliminates the need to take the mount apart to install it on the vehicle. The installation process is straightforward, taking around thirty minutes to complete using basic hand-tools and a jack with jack stands. Swapping out bushings can be done at the same time, adding only a couple minutes more to the task.
