The IAG Unequal Length Headers are the perfect way to add more performance to your Subaru WRX STI and still keep the iconic "Boxer Rumble." The headers are fully constructed of 304 stainless steel, including cast stainless flanges! The unequal length headers feature a 45mm pipe diameter for maximum flow and performance. Due to the free-flowing design of this header, you will see gains across the entire RPM range, as exhaust flow is vastly improved. The header also features a slip-joint expansion section to accommodate for flex caused by heat cycling. Each IAG header is fully TIG welded for maximum strength.
Each header package includes the IAG 60mm uppipe that utilizes a 3-bolt cast flange and multi-layer gasket between the manifold and uppipe, providing a stable connection without exhaust leaks. The IAG Header & Uppipe adds all of the hardware and high quality, multi-layer gaskets needed for installation including specialty copper exhaust nuts, which are proven to maintain their torque even in the extreme conditions of heat cycling present at the exhaust flange.

I had a leaking up pipe on my 05 WRX, and of course this kick ass set of headers was the only logical way to solve the problem.
These look great, sound great, and fit great!
*I did have to use the BFH on my U frame but that is mentioned in the description and took all of 2 minutes to do.

Needed to replace my stock header and uppipe on our '08 Legacy specB and found this combo for a great deal on eBay...thanks for also selling on eBay! I made a phone call to confirm it would fit and received the green light from the responsive IAG tech. Decided to send the parts off to be Jet Hot Coated for protection, longevity and a little flair. That decision drew out the installation process a little longer but well worth it. Install was easy with great instructions and the end result is a beautiful sound from our exhaust system that I didn't think was possible. Have also installed a new catback exhaust since installation which also contributes to the great sound.

Got these for my 2013 WRX. Amazing quality, performance and look. Paired with a Tomei downpipe and nameless catback, it all sounds amazing. Fitment was solid and was an easy install.

I couldn’t have been more impressed with everything start to finish. My items showed up quick and packaged amazingly. I have yet to install the oil pan and headers but I’m sure I won’t be disappointed in the fit and finish.

2004 Forester XT 5spd. Quality quality quality! I installed this, an Invidia DP, and Turbo XS Muffler and they are poor next to the IAG. All good pieces don't get me wrong. I recently installed the equal length IAG on my 11 WRX. Love both sounds, preference honestly.

I just bought unequal-length headers and an up pipe from IAG. I haven't put the motor back in the car, so I can't comment on the sound. Anyway, I was waiting for sales to start because Black Friday was soon. I started getting emails about the sale starting now. So I waited a few days and bought the pipes. Then the next day, the pipes were $100 or so cheaper than what I paid. I would like to talk to customer service. I tried to call but didn't get any help.

Throughout my time, I have seen a lot of headers and down pipes from many different manufactures and many different suppliers. These headers are probably the best header I have ever seen. The flanges are amazing. The welds are perfect hands-down a great product really worth the money.

Installed on my 05 Subaru legacy GT. Fitment was perfect, Improved throttle response significantly and faster spooling

This header finally gave me the sound I was looking for and literally shortened my spool point by 1000 RPM (4500&3500)
Should be noted that everything fits perfectly fine even around my killerB pan with no problem, BUT it is touching on my Subframe just a bit. You can either trim, bash, or just remove the U frame as most do.

is the middle of the pipes where the two brackets are welded? it seems to be not welded and claims to be a "slip fit" and if so how would this not leak?
These are slip fit with tension bands to hold sealed.

Why do I need a new oil pan to fit the unequal header? can I modify or am I stuck buying a new pan with this header?

Yes, the uppipe is catless.

will this fit a 2014 wrx with a iag oil pan? without modifying oil filter location?
This will fit with our IAG Oil Pan and for the 14 WRX you would not need to modify the location of the oil filter.
