IAG Competition Series Engine Mounts for 2008-14 Subaru WRX, 05-09 LGT

Designed to fit 2008-2014 WRX and 2005-2009 LGT Subaru models, the IAG Competition Series Engine Mounts offer the ideal balance of firm stability and performance for everyday street use and weekend competition events. These engine mounts are equipped with 90A durometer bushings that are 30% stiffer than the Subaru GROUP N bushings, providing improved support that leaves little room for lurching or movement, allowing the engine to perform at its peak.

Included in the Competition Series kit are eight 90A durometer bushings that are slightly stiffer than our 75A Street Series Bushings. These bushings deliver greater stability, while significantly reducing engine movement under heavy acceleration. Designed to enhance throttle response and facilitate a more direct power transfer, they are an excellent choice for high-performance high-powered racing applications.

If you prefer a softer feel, IAG's 75A durometer street bushings provide a middle ground—firmer than stock but more forgiving than our 90A bushings. Also available are the IAG solid steel bushings designed to meet the demands of high-powered race applications. Due to the stiffness of the bushings, an increase in NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) in the cabin is to be expected, as is typical with performance bushings.

The IAG Competition Series Engine Mounts are designed for easy installation. Those with solid mechanical skills can have them installed in about 30 minutes if using a lift; however, you can also complete the installation without a lift with a bit more time and patience. IAG Engine Mounts require the use of the OEM engine mounting plates. IAG Engine Mounts require the use of the OEM engine mounting plates found on the 2002-07 WRX, 2004-20 STI and 2004-08 Forester XT. IAG's engine mounts for the 2008-14 WRX and 2005-09 Legacy GT come with the correct OEM engine mounting plates for an easy installation.
