Perfection

My WRX was idling at 1100 and surging to 2000 when clutch in and rolling. I thought my check valve was good. I was wrong. I replaced it with this piece and my car is running great again.

Line broke

When I installed the pcv kit the plastic check valve broke causing a vacuum leak. I had to order another replacement. I highly recommend replacing the pcv valve when you install the pcv kit. It is recommended to replace the pcv valve every 30k to 60k miles. The pcv valve is hard to get since it’s on national back order. So get two if you can to replace every 30k miles otherwise you might have some engine issues. Or just upgrade to the newest AOS with a new pcv valve . Which will solve any issues with vaccume leaks, crankcase pressure, idle issues, burning oil and engine sludge.

iag AOS and wacked out idling

I think that covers it You got an idle that's high and hovers when you put in the clutch will actually raise and never drops back down into under a thousand get yourself a new check valve minimal or this hose with a check valve Time to replace it. I don't know how long ago it was put on because the system was installed by the previous owner but I hope this new check valve lasts a while.
