The IAG Alternator Cover replaces the dull factory plastic with a sleek aluminum design, adding a custom touch to your Subaru’s engine bay. Designed as a direct replacement for 2006-2014 WRX and 2004-2021 STI Subaru models, this aluminum cover is available in black with your choice of a red, neon yellow, black, white, blue, or pink hexagon accent plate. I received my cover a couple of days ago and I couldn't be happier!! The installation was super quick and easy, and I absolutely love the esthetics of it in my engine bay. I used other covers from another manufacturer in my previous Subaru, and the look of this one exceeds my previous expectations. I'll likely be looking for other items. Thank you!

The plastic OEM alternator cover looks awkward and market for STI alt covers is well saturated with plenty of aftermarket options. I was excited to see IAG's take on the cover. They did a great job with the design and the IAG cover is a welcomed addition to my engine bay.
I was a bit hesitant at first about having to loosen the belt tension, but it was such a simple task and Installation was quick and easy. It appears to be well constructed with a nice textured finish. I opted for black inserts and the look turned out great!

Once we had all the piece parts and were able to assemble the kit, we noticed that the two pieces that make up the shield vibrate. I'm looking at adding pieces of electrical tape between the two pieces (out of site) to reduce the vibration between the two halfs.

Will this fit on the EJ25s purchased from IAG? Are there brackets that could be purchased to make this work on a Forester?
The fitment would be dependent on the year/model. We currently do not have fitment confirmation for the Forester chassis at this time.

Will this fit the 15+ WRX?
This will not fit 2015+ WRX models.
