Overall lower coolant temps, easy install.

The pictures are a bit outdated (no crimp clamps, molded tubing in newer version of kit)

Shipping was fast and got here two days early. The GDT cyl 4 cooling kit itself had everything needed and the metal T you dont have to worry about breaking it. Should come stock highly recommend!

Easy install, perfect fitted piece for the job. Grab some hose cutters at the supply store just in case you need to trim the hose for your fitment. You'll need the hose cutters in the future when replacing your recirculating crank case ventilation system for for IAG air oil separator!

The install was extremely easy and it has defiantly had a noticeable difference in coolant temperatures running at operating temperature and when you put your foot into it would recommend this mod to anyone with a turbo Subaru.

The product is amazingly simple and I feel a lot safer having it. It should honestly be included from the factory. Only problem is installation, as simple as it is, required a bunch of niche tools. A 1" crowfoot wrench and a 12mm hex key. Both of which I had to order online to get. Would still recommend to anyone with an EJ Subaru.

Cylinder #4 is notoriously know for Ringland failure due to excessive internal cylinder heat, with no coolant circulating as cylinders 1-2 and 3 are cooled and maintain stable temperatures versus #4, cylinder #4 does not maintain a stable temp it just gets way too hot thus causing you all types of catastrophes to your engine build, stopping you from building that horsepower up safely. Putting this hose is like buying an insurance policy for your engine, lets you properly build horsepower with all your cylinder temps spread equally among all 4 cylinders, no more Cylinder 4 failures. Easy install.

I had it installed by my tuner so I knew everything was done right. So far I have had no problems and car is running great.
