The FP XR ZERO 86HTZ ball bearing turbocharger for the Subaru WRX/STI features the 86HTZ compressor wheel, with an 84MM Flow Advancement Port™ compressor cover coupled to and FP 10CM turbine section. The FP ZERO 86HTZ flows 78LB a minute and the 84mm inlet of the FP BLACK 76HTZ for Subaru STI/WRX means that the TGV's will need to be removed from the vehicle to gain the required compressor housing clearance. **Please note this turbo is not a direct fit and will require making custom water and oil lines. In addition, the 2008-14 WRX and 2005-09 Legacy GT will require an aftermarket top mount intercooler or front mount intercooler to fit the turbo.

Subaru WRX / STi's have been known to the performance world to make big power for years now. 600, 700, 800 hp and more have been attained and made some ridiculous ET's at the drag strip. Up until now though, those results have been achieved with a nonstock location, rotated turbo. To change all that, FP is excited to introduce the Xona Rotor Ball Bearing Zero 86 HTZ for Subaru. This ball bearing turbo uses their 86 HTZ wheel and 84MM Flow Advancement Port compressor cover to flow a massive 78 LB per minute which would send a well-sorted motor into the 700+ horsepower range.

These numbers are impressive, but they are really only half the story behind why this turbo is revolutionary. The real kicker here is the increased turbine flow thanks to their new 10 cm stock location Subaru turbine housing. That means you can make 700 horsepower on a non-rotated, stock fitment, simple to install turbo! To do all this without needing a custom exhaust manifold, uppipe or downpipe, to not run into the ABS components, to not need to piece together a rotated turbo kit, is nearly unheard of! Testing has found no significant clearance issues on most cars, making this the easiest to install big number Subaru turbo. Additionally, due to the nature and size of this turbo, FP is not recommending it be optioned with an internal wastegate so an external gate will be recommended to run this turbo.
